| 摘 要： | 内蒙古后套话中的＂半天＂是一个典型的语气副词,在句中位置灵活,可以表达醒悟、意外、怀疑和讽刺等多种语气,可以与其他副词共现,并具有丰富的语用功能。通过研究发现,语气副词＂半天＂就是＂动词＋半天＂结构的省略,这种结构体现了语言的经济性原则。

| Abstract: | Bantian（半天）is a typical modal adverb in Houtao dialect（偶发）Inner Mongolia.It has flexible positions in the sentences to express a variety of tones such as awakening,unexpectedness,suspicion and satire,and it can be used with other adverbs,having rich pragmatic functions.The findings showed that the modal adverb Bantian（半天）is the omitted form of ＂verb ＋ Bantian（半天）＂,which reflects the principles of linguistic economics. |
