社会诚信危机与学校教育

“信”最初是指祭祀时人对上天和祖先说的诚实话,它发达于古代的政治盟约,并成为人的一种重要道德品质。当今市场经济,人们虽然十分注重“诚信经济”,但“背信弃义”现象却普遍存在。为什么曾经作为我们优秀传统文化的“信”现在反而成为稀缺资源呢?政治信仰的动摇、拜金主义的价值取向、多元文化的冲击、法律法规的不健全、社会阶层的分化带来经济的鸿沟是直接的原因,但根本的原因是教育长期被“边缘化”。因此,解决社会诚信危机的根本出路除进行社会综合治理外,最终还得依靠教育。

Social Credit Crisis and School Education

The original meaning of "credit" refers to the honest words people said to Heaven or their ancestors when worshiping Heaven.It stems from ancient political treaties of alliance and it becomes a very important human moral quality.In the condition of market economy, though people pay a lot attention to "the honesty and credit economy", the phenomena of deserting faith are everywhere.Why credit,used to be one of our traditional cultures,becomes a rare resource now? The wavering of political belief, mammonisin, the blast of pluralistic cultures, the unsound system of laws and rules and the economy chasm caused by the differentiation of social hierarchy are direct reasons, but the fundamental reason is that education is being "marginalized".Therefore, the basic way of settling the social honesty and credit crisis is to administer the society comprehensively,and ultimately school education should be the focus for the society.
