| Abstract: | In this paper, the computer programs on pattern recognition in Turbo-pascal language was reported. Step diseriminant analysis and nonlinear mapping method are applied to the recognition and classification of chinese tea(green, black and wulong tea). The quality index, assigned to these tea standards by experts could be assured from the nonlinear mapping results. |
