| Abstract: | A new tailed porphyrin which bears covalently attached a pyridine as aaxial ligand,5-[4-(m-pyridyloxy) butoxy] pheny1-10,15,20-triphenylporphyrin(PyBPTPP)and its iron coordination compound (FePyBPTPPCl) have been synthesizedand characterized by elementary analysis,mass spectra,ultraviolet and vissiblespectra,infrared spectra,proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectra,thermo-gravimetic analysis and differential thermal analysis.The synthetic routes of thisnew tailed porphyrin were also discussed |
