| Abstract: | Summary The authors describe a monophosphoesterase isolated from yeast which acts strongly on sodium phenolphthaleinphosphate, phenolphosphate, and -glycerophosphate in an alkaline medium (pH 8,5–9,1). The enzyme does not need magnesium ions for its activity. |
