摘    要:本文研究了横向边界对Rayleigh-Benard问题的影响,作了扇形柱几何中的自然对流的线性稳定性分析。文章确定了当在柱形容器的下底面加热、上底面保持固定温度的条件下,出现自然对流的临界Rayleigh数,井讨论了临界Rayleigh数附近的区域内的优势对流模式(Preferred convective mode)和柱面侧壁对它们的影响。

Abstract:This article deals with the influence of the lateral boundaries on the Rayleigh-Benard problem. The natural convections in the containers with the geometry of seetoriai cylinder are analysed by the linear stability theory. The critical Rayleigh numbers are determined for the onset of natural convection of fluid in the cylindrical containers heated from below and cooled from above. The preferred convection modes at Rayleigh number just above the critical points and the influence of the lateral walls in them are dealt with.
