| 摘 要： | 矛盾是对立的统一,通过分析外在的矛盾现象,可以看到事物内在的本质。分析英语的矛盾现象,我们可以了解其内含的深刻文化底蕴,例如词汇中透视出的民族偏见,习语的深刻内涵,以及借矛盾现象强化的修辞手段。探讨对待矛盾现象的方法,我们就可以比较科学地处理各类矛盾现象。

| Abstract: | Contradiction is unity of opposites. By analysing the exterior contradiction of things, we can know interior essence.By analysing the contradiction in English, we can understand the implication of English culture such as national discrimination reflected from vocabulary, connotation of idioms and figures of speech intensified by making use of contradiction. Probing the methods to treat contradiction may enable us to deal with various kinds of contradiction more scientifically. |
