| Abstract: | This paper attempts to discuss the pragmatic strategies in translating cultural words, which refer to the expressions that have much social cultural and psychic information. The various strategies include literal translation, transference, transliteration, explanation, replacement by synonymous idioms and proverbs, translationg the pragmatic implicature and the combination of them. |
