摘    要:目标图像分割是自动目标识别(ATR)的重要环节,其性能对ATR系统具有显著影响。本文利用二维(2D)熵阈值进行目标图像分割,提出一种快速2D熵阈值算法,大大缩短了处理时间,减少了所需存储空间。另外,为了进一步改善分割效果,采用中值—平滑滤波进行图像预处理。实验结果表明,本方法具有很好的分割效果。

Abstract:Target image segmentation is one of the important steps for automatic target recognition (ATR). Its preformance strongly impacts on an ATR system. This paper proposes a fast 2D entropic thresholding algorithm by employing a two-dimensional (2D) entropic thresh-old to segment target images. The processing time of each image is greatly shortened and the re-quired memory space is also greatly reduced. For further improving the image segmentation, the median-smooth filtering is used to preprocess image. The experimental results show the tech-nique is very effective on image segmentation.
