摘    要:That the geoscience and geological prospecting circles in China should carry out research and development on four major geoscience projects was suggested. Participating the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP) which is initiated by Japan; Ddeveloping deep sea mineral resources (mainly nodules) within the scope of the exclusive economic zone of China in the northwest Pacific; Formulating technical policy for exploiting natural gas hydrate and carrying out research on the related technology and equipment; Accelerating the exploration of deep geoscience earth conducting super deep continental scientific drilling on the Qinghai-Tibet plateau.
