With the development of the Internet,people pay more and more attention to the securiy of the Internet,and then promote the development of theories and techniques of IIDS system.The paper presents several definitions of outlier,introduces several typical outlier detect algorithms,compares their advantages and disadvantages,and finds out that the local outlier viewpoint of Density Based Outlier algorithm matches the practical application. Finally,the paper it introduces the Density Based Outlier algorithm in detail and gives an example to show how to apply the algorithm in IIDS.
