| Abstract: | We discuss the generalized solutions for a class of evolution equations of the form (d~2u)/(dt~2)=A(t)u+B(t)u,by means of the Galerkin method. The result is applicable to the initial-boundary value problems for some of the equations of mathematical physics. |
