吸附伏安法测定阳离子表面活性剂的临界胶束浓度

摘    要:以中性红为探针,用吸附伏安法测定了新型阳离子表面活性剂3-对壬基酚基-2-羟丙基三甲基溴化铵(NPB)的临界胶束浓度,该法的基本原理基于表面活性剂溶液中的痕量中性红能被悬汞电极吸附,由于中性红溶解在胶束中的浓度远大于水中,吸附伏安峰电流在表面活性剂临界胶束浓度形成时有一个明显的转变点,该转变点即为表面活性剂的临界胶束浓度。

Abstract:A new method is developed to determine the critical micelle concentration of 3-p-nonanoic pheno-lic-2-hydroxypropyl trimethyl bromide by adsorption voltammetry using neutral red as a probe. The basic principle of the method is that trace neutral red in surfactant solution can be adsorbed by a hanging mercury electrode, and the absorptive voltammetric peak current has a turning point when micelle is formed because neutral red is far more soluble in micelles than in water. The turning point is the critical micelle concentration of the surfactant.
