Abstract:The stiffness and damping properties of links fabricated from the three-dimensional braided composite are outlined .The elasto-dynamic model of flexible robotic manipulators fabricated from three-dimensional braided composite is presented and analyzed by finite element method . A design methodology is proposed in this paper for synthesis of the robot linkage with optimal material properties significantly enhances the dynamic response of these robotic manipulators.2figs.,1tab.,5refs.
