摘    要:针对图像网络传输中传输图像数据量或时长与目标图像质量之间的矛盾问题,考虑图像在不同网络带宽下传输的时效性,通过基于内容敏感的线裁剪减少图像数据量,提出了一种自适应网络带宽分级传输图像的方法。首先对网络带宽进行分级;并根据网络带宽对所传输的图像定义并实施不同程度的基于内容敏感的线裁剪;这里所采用的线裁剪在水平与垂直方向上交替同时进行。实验结果表明:所提出的基于内容敏感线裁剪的图像自适应网络带宽传输方法不仅很好地保留图像的主要特征,而且适应网络带宽减少了图像网络传输时的数据量;进而减少了图像网络传输时间,提高传输时效性,有利于图像的高效传输。

Abstract:In order to balance between the image data quantity or transmission duration and the quality of the received image during image transmission through network, this paper considers of different bandwidth under different network circumstances, and proposes a hierarchical transmission method with adapting network bandwidth for image through reducing image data by virtue of content-aware seam carving. Firstly, the network bandwidth is graded and measured, and then the image transmitted is resized to different extent through content-aware seam carving according to the network bandwidth. Here the seam carving is used alternately in horizontal and vertical directions. The experimental results show that the proposed method not only retains the saliency contents of the transmitted image, but also reduces the amount of data of image transmission according to network bandwidth and saves the transmission time, thus improves the timeliness of transmission and is conducive to efficient transmission of images.
