Optimizing Inventory Control Model in a Three - stage Supply Chain Based on Core Enterprises

This paper had discussed how to optimize the inventory of the three - stage supply chain model, which was based on the core enterprises. It was assumed that each finished product was made up of several kinds of raw materials and that in some certain conditions the relationship between market demand and the price of product was linear. The order cost, storage cost and stockout cost were considered comprehensively in each stage and the transport cost was taken into account properly in the paper. It aimed to minimize the whole cost and to obtain the optimal order time and optimal order size by means of building a three - stage supply chain model. By using exhaustive method to adjust the price, the author made the demand float within a certain range to find the optimal demand of the price until it reached the lowest cost of the whole inventory and the highest profit in the supply chain at last.
