Traditioanal therory of translation regards a translated text only as the duplicate of the original,therefore neglecting the role of the translator.Contemporary therory defines translation as cross-cultural communication,which involves the active participation of the writer,the translator and the reader.The translator,a special reader and a creator,has a significant influence on the reader’s understanding of the original text.
