宁陕齿突蟾雄性的发现(无尾目:锄足蟾科)

宁陕齿突蟾Scutiger ningshanesis Fang于1985年以一只雌性发表以来,雄性未见报道.1988年5月20日晚作者在与雌性标本相同的地方(宁陕县平河梁),海拔1970m的溪流中采获一只齿突蟾.经鉴定为宁陕齿突蟾雄性成体(No.SXTU 88017),标本现保存于陕西师范大学生物系脊椎动物实验室.

The Finding of Scutiger ningshanensis Male (Anura. Pelobatidae)

This paper reports the Scutiger ningshanensis which were collected by the authors from Pingheliang, Ningshan county on May 20, 1988 (Male specimen, adult.No.SXTU88017, altitude 1970m). The male is similar to the female in the main character: Snout obtusely rounded, Pupile vertical crack, A rectangle darkbrown patch from the middle of eyes to that of shoulders; Dorsal skin is coarser with four longitudinal rows of interrupted folds; There is one rising gland on each side of the anus. The main differente btween the two is that there are two pairs of black cutin sting patch on the male chest. The male specimen is kepk in the Department of Biology, Shaanxi normal University, China.
