具有多服务器的客户／服务器系统的配置优化算法

客户/服务器系统是当今分布环境中计算机应用发展的主流。本文采用马尔科夫链建立具有多服务器的客户/服务器系统的排队模型, 得出了系统性能的解析结果。在此基础上, 提出了系统配置优化的目标函数, 并研究不同的前提条件下的优化方法, 同时分析了一些优化实例。该方法不仅有助于对客户/服务器系统的深入理解, 而且性能分析的结果对于分析系统的瓶颈, 优化系统配置有重要意义。

A Configuration Optimization Algorithm for Client/server System with Multiple Servers

Client/server architecture is the main trend of distributed computing today. In this paper, a queuing model based on Marcov chain and analytic performance result to the model are presented. An objective function for system comfiguration optimization and relative algorithm under different situations are then obtained. At last, an example is followed to illustrate the computing process. The method in this paper is not only helpful for us to understand client/server system, but also important to analyze the bottleneck of client/server system and optimize the system configuration.
