| Abstract: | In this paper,an existence theorem on the coupled minimal and maximal positive solutions for a class of discontinuous nonmonotone Volterra type integral equations in Banach spaces is obtained.An application to initial value problems for a class of discontinuous integro differential equation of Volterra type is also given. |
