论庞朴解读《中庸》的“三分法”

庞朴在《中庸》的理解中提出了三分法的观念。相比于二分法，三分法意在突出被二分法弱化的“中”的观念，它通过强调“中”与过、不及的三极状态，将“中”观念由“隐性”变为“显性”，突出了对“中”观念的强调；它将“中”视为一极，将其从“过程”的思维定式中解放出来。相对于二分法，这种思维清晰了《中庸》的中国哲学特色，而免于滑落到西方哲学的对立思维中。三分法是庞朴理解《中庸》的一种建构，也是其理解中国哲学的一种新思路。但三分法由于本身的特征，也存在着“中”作为一极如何处理与“过”“不及”这两极的统分关系，及三分后“中”与两极的位阶矛盾及诠释迭加等问题。

On Pang Pus Trichotomy in His ZhongYong Interpretation

Pang Pu put forward the concept of trichotomy in his interpreting of ZhongYong, or Doctrine of the Mean.The trichotomy emphasizes the concept of zhong,which is barely seen in the dichotomy,and brings it from recessive to dominant existence by setting three poles of zhong (mean),excessive and inadequate,changing the role of zhong into an independent pole from a process in the old thinking mode.The concept of trichotomy highlights the Chinese philosophical characteristics of ZhongYong and keeps it from falling into the black orwhite thinking of western philosophy.It is Pang Pus construction of ZhongYong and his new way to understand the Chinese philosophy.Problems also remain such as the uniting and dividing between the new pole zhong (mean) and poles of excessive and inadequate,and their ranking,interpretation and superposition.
