| Abstract: | In this paper we derived some formulas for the calculation in measuring on the large range of the earth surface from the first fundamental differential form of sur- face,and given the calculating examples in applying the formulas.They are typical ex- amples that theory is related closely to practice in the teaching of the differential geome- try. |
