With the development of laboratory animal science，scientific researchers have been paid more attention to the lab animal welfare．In the review，we began with the concept，origin，requirement and legislation of animal welfare，combining the actual works，and then we analyzed several important factors which impact laboratory animal we]fare．At last，we put relevant proposals for reference．
