摘    要:英语教学不仅是语言教学,也是文化教学。了解词汇的文化内涵对于准确的教英语有着至关重要的作用。教学实践中对词汇的文化内涵重视与否会直接影响到词汇教学,进而对写作教学、口语教学也影响深远,因而必须充分重视词汇的文化内涵。

Abstract:English Teaching should teach language as well as culture.Understanding cultural connotation of vocabularies plays a very important role in English language teaching.Emphasis on cultural connotation of the word in teaching practice will have a direct impact on vocabulary teaching,as well as writing teaching and oral English teaching.Consequently,we must pay full attention to the cultural connotation of words.
