| Abstract: | The conditions and characteristics that caused the prosperous calligraphy and painting market in Song Dynasty are introduced. It is proposed that, the good humanities environment, the development of urban economy, the expansion of artistic expense community, etc., are the main conditions; the professional master of calligraphy and painting, the professional intermediary agent, the fixed transaction place and the appearance of spurious copy market represent the prosperous condition of calligraphy and painting market in Song Dynasty. |
