| Abstract: | Based on Hassan's four-point interpolating ternary stationary subdivision scheme, a new four-point approximating ternary stationary subdivision scheme is constructed. The new scheme's geometrical presentation is given. Moreover, its continuous properties and polynomial properties are analyzed. |
