| 摘 要： | 英语课堂使用图片有助于激发学生兴趣，帮助学生更好地理解文化背景信息。从听、说、读、写等教学环节入手，探讨图片在各个教学环节中的作用、使用途径及使用过程中需要注意的问题，教师应适度、有效地使用图片，不断提高教学质量。

| Abstract: | Application of pictures in English Teaching helps to stimulate students＇ learning interest and helps students understand the cultural information better. Starting from listening, speaking, reading and writing, this the- sis explores the roles of applying pictures in teaching procedures, the methods of applying pictures and the problems in the application of pictures. English teachers should emancipate the mind and appropriately use the pictures toimprove the teaching effect. |
