| 摘 要： | “综合能力”是与“素质”相平行,在某种意义上还同义的一个概念。综合能力的培养是与我们教育目标——“人的全面发展”相一致的。为了达到这一目的,必然要考虑教法。传统教法和新的英语课堂教学法各有优劣。本文从分析两者优劣的角度,提出辩证处理两者关系,通过教学实践达到提高中学生综合能力的目的,并对达到此目的的途径作了一些探讨。

| Abstract: | In some sense," comprehensive ability " and " quality " have the same meaning.This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of traditional and new English teaching methods,suggests a dialectical use of the two,and discusses the ways to achieve the aim of raising the students' ability through teaching practice. |
