＂Shifts in Voice＂, or ＂Shifts in Point of View＂？ --An Analysis of English Coherence

In terms of coherence in English, there are two different ways to analyze a certain kind of faulty sentences. One is ＂shifts in voice＂, and the other ＂shifts in point of view＂. The former means that the mistakes only lie in the confusing use of active voice and passive voice, which in fact overlooks the real causes. While the latter holds that such mistakes are caused by the illogical use subjects or topics, which directly points to the core of the problem, offering an insight into the nature of English, and therefore helps more to gain a good command of the language.
