| Abstract: | This article briefly states the historical background of the Mazu faith＇s spread in Hangjiang. Through a countryside investigation into the Xiaxu Tianfei temple, one of the most representative Mazu temples in Hanjiang, and in reference to related literature, this article describes the history and present situation of the Mazu temple, and also discusses its characteristics. |
