摘    要:近些年来,针对农村小学英语教师的研究已不鲜见,虽研究对象和研究内容侧重点不同,但研究视角鲜有新意。Karen E.Johnson关注社会文化视角对于第二语言教师教育与专业发展的影响。在社会文化视角下开展的以滁州市农村小学英语教师为研究对象的调查表明,该群体的教育认知总体偏传统,未能认识到教师语言和教师角色的中介特质、语言教学的活动特质和教师学习的社会特质以及这些特质对学生个体发展的作用;其对教育与发展的形式的理解也过于简单。影响他们教育与发展的因素主要表现在外部环境的不可控性和自身的学习和发展意识淡薄两个方面。相应的对策应从优化外部环境和改善自身教育认知和意识方面入手。

Abstract:In recent years, researches on primary school English teachers in rural areas arose frequently with different subjects and research questions;however, they were not conducted from any fresh perspectives. Karen E. Johnson cares much about the second language teachers’ educational and professional development from sociocultural perspective. A research from this perspective on the primary school English teachers in Chuzhou rural areas showed that the group possessed a traditional educational cognition and a poor knowledge about the mediation feature of the teachers’ language and role in class, the activity feature of language teaching, the social feature of teachers’ learning, and the functions of these features upon the language learners’ individual development. The group also had a simple understanding of their educational and professional development ways. The research found out two domains of factors standing between the group and their educational and professional development: the uncontrollable outside environment and the thin inner learning and developing awareness. Accordingly, countermeasures should focus on optimizing the outside environment and improving their inner educational cognition and awareness.
