摘    要:矢量曲线压缩在地理仿真、地图数据库建设及地理信息研究中具有重要的意义.分析了GIS中矢量数据的传统压缩算法-道格拉斯-普克(Douglas-Peucker)数据压缩算法,传统的压缩算法编程复杂,运算速度慢.提出了一种较为简单的特征点提取方法,该算法通过计算相邻矢量数据的斜率,以斜率之差为约束条件,通过在MATLAB7....

Abstract:Vector curve compression has the vital significance in geographic simulation,map the database construction and geographic information study.Through analyzing the GIS traditional vector data compression algorithm-Douglas-poke Douglas-Peucker data compression algorithm,it indicates the traditional compression algorithm programming complex and time consuming.This paper proposes a kind of relatively simple feature point extraction method,this algorithm through calculating the slope of the adjacent vector data,using the difference in slope as constraint conditions,through the simulation experiments in MATLAB7.0,the algorithm is more simple in the process of extracting vector curve feature point than Douglas-Peucker algorithm.as for complex curve and the feature point extracting are also very accurate.
