| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the artisitic thoughts, aesthetic ideas, basic features and the tremendous contribution of Schuman＇s piano music composing from the perspectives of Schuman＇s artistic carrer, his piano compositions and the analysis of his masterpiece-the Carnival. It proves convincingly that Schuman deserves his position as the outstanding composer and musical critic of Western Romantic Music in 19th century. |
