| Abstract: | A knowledge base system INCAP (Integration of Catalyst Activity Patterns) for the selection of catalyst components has been developed by decomposing the catalyst design problem into 5 easily solved sub problems and by building up an experimental estimation model of catalytic activity weighted for the application of activity date. The INCAP was applied to the design of catalysts for the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethylbeneze and the results arc in agreement with the experimental ones. The characters of INCAP are analyzed from the view of design expert system. |
