“贡献”之于“工册”：我国古代的一种登记制度

“工”看上去无论是字形构造还是意义与意思，都值得考究；它似乎都极其简单平凡；然而，追其远，索其古，却发现其极其不简单平凡，形成了中华文明完整体系中独特的“工业”形制；它既神圣又世俗，既抽象又具体，既深邃又平易。其中“工-贡”之间的特殊关联，产生了我国古代一种登记制度，是我国极其重要的文化遗产，值得引起遗产学界的重视。

And the special association between ＂gong （工） and gong （贡, contribution）＂ gives rise to a registration system in ancient China,which is a kind of extremely important cultural heritage of China and deserves academic attention.
