元叙述的叙述功能

元叙述是一种叙述策略。首先,它作为一种元语言必然具有元语言的某些功能。其次,元叙述手法无疑与正常叙述大异其趣,从而造成陌生化效果。第三,这种手法的采用,可以达到韦伯所说的“除魅”的效果,即去除文学魅力,同时,它还敞开了文本当中的意识形态。

Narrative Function of Metanarrative

Metanarrative is a narrative strategy. Firstly, as a kind of metalanguage, metanarrative is bound to have some of its functions. Secondly, metanarrative is undoubtedly very different from normal narrative, which causes the effect of defamiliarization. Thirdly, the adoption of this approach can achieve the effect of ＂disenchantment＂, i.e. removal of literary charm, which is said by Weber, and at the same time, it also opens up the ideology of a text.
