| Abstract: | This paper presented a formula that calculate the electronegativity of atoms incrystals.The formula buliet on the bond force constants,bond lengths in moleculeand interatomic distances in crystal.We have calculated atomic electronegativitiesof the alkali metals in crystals.We take the amount of partial ionic chracter ofbonds in crystal as the standard and examined reliability of the method of theelectronegativity of calculation.Our calculation for amount of partial ionic characterof bond in crystal are agreement with experimental values. |
