Abstract:To remove the trace water from non aqueous electrolyte of lithium ion battery more efficiently and without any damaging effects, 4A molecular sieve was lithiated in advance according to the principle of ion exchanging. The experiment results show that the lithiated molecular sieve can replace the 4A molecular sieve as dehydrant, with far less introduction of foreign ions. It is of great importance in maintaining the cycle performance of batteries, so the lithiated molecular sieve is of great value in the experiments and in the production of lithium ion batteries.
