浅析《毛诗序》中两段选文的英译

美国著名汉学家宇文所安从其独特的视角以一种翻译与评论相结合并立足文本细读的方法解读中国古代文论,由于根源于不同文化,也由于两种语言本身的非对等性,在翻译和注解的过程中不可避免地出现了一些误译和误释。选取他对《毛诗序》两段选文的翻译以及译文后面的评论,并对比《毛诗序》中的原文,就以上问题进行了细致的分析。当然,不可否认的是,他在向西方介绍中国传统文学理论方面起到了不可估量的作用。

A brief analysis of the two translated passages of The Great Preface

From a very special prospective,the famous American Sinologist,Stephen Owen,explains Chinese literary thought by means of close reading,combining translations with commentaries.While based on two different cultures and languages,it is inevitable for him to translate and comment on Chinese literary thought wrongly.Thus this paper tries to expound the two translated passages of the ＂Great Preface＂ in comparison with the corresponding Chinese passages so as to know the great contribution that Stephen Owen has made in introducing the Chinese literary thought to the western countries.
