| Abstract: | Functional theories in translation study include translational discourse analysis and functional translation theories.Based on the analysis of the theoretical frames towards the two ways,this essay illustrates the application of functional theories in Japanese translation teaching and stresses the guiding role and explanation strengths of functional theories on specific translation problems,so that Japanese translation teaching should be given more directions of functional theories. |
