| Abstract: | A microcomputer control system, which is suitable to compensate reactive power in low-voltage networks, is described. A simple and effective circuit for detecting fundamental-wave reactive current is presented. Using this System, separate-phase control of the switched capacitors can be realized. The fast and real-time compensating characteristics can be obtained with this system on compensating the fundamenta-swave reactive power in low-voltage networks. |
