| Abstract: | The last is represented by the patchwork arrangement nodes in order to get its features through IBM PC/XT personal computer,the nodes are inter- polated by a parametric non-uniform bicubic B-spline function,so as to avoid the surface synthesis and obtain a continuous and smooth form model of the surface of last.Based on the analysis and summarizations of the traditional flattening methods,a new algorithm is developped by means of regression and a useful flattened form of the last is obtained. |
