西方学尽管在２０世纪的中国学发展中有着重要意义，但真正使其转化发展的却应是传统学，特别是晚清的学改良运动；新学先驱们回避传统有其潜在心理因素。但是应该认识到，西方学的输入和传统学的崛起两对峙造成的张力，是２０世纪中国学波澜起伏的魅力所在。

Constraints to Literture from the Social Revolution

The western literature is imporant to the development of Chinese literature in the 20 th century, but it is the traditional literature that really made the changes of it, especially the Movement of Literature Improvement in late Qing Dynasty.There are latent psychological causes why the vanguards of the new literature tried to avoid tradition.But we must realize that the influx of Western Literature and the development of the traditional literature, and the tension between them are the charm of the development of the 20 th century's Chinese literayure.
