| Abstract: | In this paper, the important concepts of Green Chemistry, Atom Economy, and the research trend of obtaining enantiomerically pure organic compounds through asymmetric catalysis were discussed; some novel organocatalysts employed for significant organic reactions were introduced briefly; the main criteria for assessing an organocatalysis for a large-scale process was simply summarized; and finally, the prospects of organocatalysis were given. |
