| Abstract: | On the basis of expounding briefly the definition and the classification of knowledge, the paper inquires into the different function and effect of declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge on English teaching. With an example of the passive voice, it demonstrates how to distinguish the types of knowledge in English teaching and the signification of this classification. |
