| Abstract: | Inventory coordination plays an important role in supply chain coordination and lowering the cost of supply chain operation. This paper studied the inventory coordination between retailer and manufacturer under JIT and VMI, and analyzed the way to enhance the inventory coordination level between retailer and manufacture. In the end, the strategic importance of VMI to supply chain was reveded. |
