| 摘 要： | 幽默文本的翻译不仅涉及到语言的转化，更涉及到文化的交流。汉英文字结构、语义系统及文化背景的多重差异构成幽默翻译的障碍。而归化、功能翻译等策略在幽默翻译中的具体运用能大大提高幽默的可译度，是对幽默文本的有效补偿。

| Abstract: | The translation of humor involves communicating distinct features of two language and two cultures. Therefore, sometimes humor are thought untranslatable. This paper focuses on four elements that contribute to the obstacles of humor translation. Three strategies of humor translation are recommended when transferring humor from English to Chinese, and vice visa. |
