| Abstract: | In this paper, the conceptions of consistency, convergence and stability, the Lax's equivalence theorem to the nonlinear multilevel difference approximation are given.Equivalence theorem If a nonlinear initialvalue problem is properly posed and a nonlinear multilevel finitedifference approximation satisfies the consistency conditions, then stability is necessary and sufficient for convergence. |
