| Abstract: | After introducing the general situation of maglev developments in the world, this paper takes Maglev Transrapid (TR) as an example to expound tech- nical and economic features of EMS maglev, and makes technical and economic comparisons between TR and other kinds of EMS maglev and between TR and ICE. These comparisons show commercial prospects of TR. |
