| Abstract: | Based on the- construction principle of mechanism, this paper demonstrates a new method to calculate the degrees of freedom for a plane mechanism-the rod number counting method. With this method, just count up the number of component parts of a mechanism, you may obtain the degrees of freedom of the mechanism. |
